Part of the Maine Birds series. The Black Capped Chickadee is Maine’s state bird and an adorable little find if you happen to see one while walking in the woods. They are cheerful, energetic, friendly, and here all year round. When a male and female pair up, they bond for life. On top of that both parents play a role in feeding and caring for hatchlings. Plus they have the most adorable little calls and chirps. I love this bird!
