Puffin Fine Art Giclée Print

$30.00

Part of the Maine Birds series. Atlantic Puffins are a crowd favorite. Unique, adorable, and a bit isolated, this bird is a joy for anyone to see. They can be found in large groups off coastal Maine islands from April-Augustish. Here they form long-term bonds with their mates, and each assists in taking care of their single egg and then hatchling. After that they return to the ocean where they live out the winter months on open water. They have the ability to float thanks to waterproof feathers, drink salt water, and dive up to a minute underwater to catch fish. 100 years ago Puffins were nearly eliminated from the state of Maine due to hunting for their feathers. There have been projects underway since then to restore the bird to the area.

Printed on archival rag photo paper, it has a similar look and feel to an original watercolor painting!

Please allow 3-5 days for processing. International orders may take longer and have additional duty fees depending on the country (I’m looking at you Italy). The 11" x 14" size will be shipped rolled in a tube, 8” x 10” will be shipped flat in a waterproof sleeve.

Not responsible for delays due to shipping.
